Summary
Leads a network engineering and operations team responsible for the reliability, security, and automation of an enterprise network spanning datacenter, cloud, WAN/LAN, wireless, and SD-WAN. Day to day blends people management, incident and vendor management, and Cisco-centric infrastructure work with Python/Ansible automation in a hybrid onsite role.

We are seeking a Manager of Network Engineering and Operations to lead the reliability, performance, security, and ongoing improvement of an enterprise network. This position manages a team of network engineering and operations professionals supporting datacenter, cloud, WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, internet, and telecom environments.
The role combines technical expertise with people leadership and works closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and business teams to maintain reliable network services and deliver key technology initiatives.
Responsibilities Lead daily network operations, monitoring, incident response, escalations, and service restoration.
Manage, mentor, and develop network engineering and operations staff.
Oversee enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, datacenter, cloud, internet, and SD-WAN environments.
Lead major incidents, root-cause reviews, and network improvement initiatives.
Drive network automation, standardization, and operational efficiency.
Use Python, Ansible, APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code to automate network operations.
Lead network projects including branch deployments, datacenter upgrades, cloud connectivity, and hardware refreshes.
Manage network vendors, telecom providers, contracts, SLAs, and support agreements.
Develop network KPIs, dashboards, capacity plans, and performance metrics.
Partner with cybersecurity teams on network security, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and governance.
Establish network standards, best practices, and change management processes.
Work with architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to support technology initiatives. Requirements 6+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, infrastructure operations, or network operations management.
2+ years of technical team leadership experience.
Experience supporting large, geographically distributed enterprise environments.
Experience leading major incidents, infrastructure projects, and operational teams.
Experience managing telecom providers, technology vendors, and service contracts.
Experience with hybrid cloud networking. Technical Skills Enterprise routing and switching
