Job Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly analytical Manager, New Ventures & Strategy to spearhead the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities.
This pivotal role will actively drive our organization’s long-term growth, commercial innovation, and strategic diversification.
The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking strategist who thrives in ambiguity, possesses a razor-sharp commercial mindset, and has a proven ability to transform abstract concepts into structured, executable business plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Market Intelligence: Conduct rigorous market research and data-driven analysis to pinpoint emerging industry trends, disruptive technologies, and high-potential areas for diversification.
Pipeline Management: Cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of strategic growth opportunities, including joint ventures, corporate partnerships, ecosystem investments, and M&A targets.
Financial Engineering & Business Cases: Formulate detailed, sophisticated business cases and complex financial models to critically assess the commercial viability, scalability, risk profile, and ROI of proposed ventures.
Concept Validation & Incubation: Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to scope, pilot, test, and validate new business concepts or minimum viable products (MVPs) in the market.
Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Synthesize complex data into high-level, actionable strategic insights, presenting clear and persuasive recommendations to the senior leadership team and executive board.
Competitive Landscape Tracking: Continuously monitor macroeconomic shifts and competitor movements to proactively identify strategic threats and capitalize on market opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related highly quantitative discipline.
*An MBA from a reputable business school is strongly preferred.*
Experience: 5–10 years of progressive experience within corporate strategy, business development, venture capital, or private equity. Prior experience in top-tier management consulting or deals/M&A advisory is a distinct advantage.
Technical Toolkit: Exceptional financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and structural problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of translating data into corporate action.
Influence & Leadership: Superior communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence, align, and navigate relationships with senior executive stakeholders.
