Manager Record to Report - Intercompany

About the role

We are seeking a Manager – Intercompanies to join the Walmart EBS Latam team, specializing in Record to Report processes across Latin America. This role will serve as a key liaison between the Market teams and the shared services, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of intercompany transactions and reconciliations. The Manager will drive operational excellence, maintain robust controls, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Record to Report function.

What you´ll do

• Oversee and manage all intercompany accounting processes, including transaction recording, reconciliation, and settlement, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with regional teams and shared services to resolve discrepancies and optimize intercompany flows.
• Monitor and measure process performance through KPIs, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and operational risks.
• Lead initiatives for process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement, facilitating workshops and gathering stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation, SOPs, and user guides for intercompany activities.
• Support process migrations, controls, and regulatory compliance related to intercompany transactions.
• Provide operational and consultative support to resolve issues and optimize Record to Report processes.
• Develop and deliver training materials to ensure proper adoption and compliance of intercompany processes.

What you´ll bring

• At least 6 years of experience in intercompany accounting, financial operations, or Record to Report processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in implementing and improving intercompany processes and reconciliations.
• Advanced knowledge of process management tools, automation, and data analysis (preferably experience with ERP, BPM platforms).
• Preferred: Certifications such as CPA, PMP, Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master.
• Experience in process transformation, automation, migrations, and internal customer support.
• Focus on controls, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Clear, Concise & Compelling communication.
• Competencies in problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and organization.
• Results-oriented, continuous improvement mindset, and deadline-driven.
