Manager Record to Report – Logistics (CR)
About the role
We are seeking a Manager – Logistics to join the Walmart EBS Latam team, specializing in Record to Report (R2R) processes related to transactions generated in Distribution Centers across Latin America. This role will serve as a key liaison between logistics operations and shared services, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of all R2R activities linked to logistics and distribution center transactions. The Manager will drive operational excellence, maintain robust controls, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Record to Report function.
What you´ll do
- Oversee and manage all R2R processes related to logistics transactions, including recording, reconciliation, and settlement of activities generated in Distribution Centers.
- Coordinate with logistics, regional teams, and shared services to resolve discrepancies and optimize transaction flows.
- Monitor and measure process performance through KPIs, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and operational risks.
- Lead initiatives for process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement, facilitating workshops and gathering stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation, SOPs, and user guides for logistics-related R2R activities.
- Support process migrations, controls, and regulatory compliance related to logistics transactions.
- Provide operational and consultative support to resolve issues and optimize Record to Report processes for logistics.
- Develop and deliver training materials to ensure proper adoption and compliance of logistics-related R2R processes.
What you´ll bring
- At least 6 years of experience in logistics accounting, financial operations, or Record to Report processes, preferably with exposure to distribution center activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and improving logistics-related financial processes and reconciliations.
- Advanced knowledge of process management tools, automation, and data analysis (preferably experience with ERP, BPM platforms).
- Advanced & Fluent in English.
- Preferred: Certifications such as CPA, PMP, Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master.
- Clear, Concise & Compelling communication.
- Competencies in problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and organization.
- Results-oriented, continuous improvement mindset, and deadline-driven.
