Job description

A reputable and well-established pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a medical advisor – oncology to be based in Riyadh.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise.
• Facilitate scientific engagement, scientific exchange, and medical information.
• Provide clinical presentations and respond to medical requests.
• Provide medical support for patients and formulary access products following global and local policies and procedures.
• Support the development, implementation, and completion of medical activities.
• Build good relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and organizations.
• Support and back up the marketing, sales, and regulatory departments in scientific and medical issues to achieve the company’s objectives.
• Serve as a medical expert for internal medical and sales training.
• Support clinical research and investigator initiated studies (IIS) and observational studies following guidelines and company-relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences and support the development of summaries of key data, presentations, or symposiums.

Requirements

• Due to Saudization, only Saudi nationals will be considered for this position.
• Medical degree (MD), PharmD, or relevant life-science qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceuticals industry.
• Experience in oncology medical affairs is a must.
• Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and the Saudi healthcare landscape.
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with external experts and internal stakeholders.
