Medical Science Liaison

A leading pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a medical science liaison for their Cairo office.

The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise.
• Facilitate scientific engagement, scientific exchange, and medical information.
• Provide clinical presentations and respond to medical requests.
• Provide medical support for patients and formulary access products following global and local policies and procedures.
• Support the development, implementation, and completion of medical activities.
• Build good relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and organizations.
• Support and back up the marketing, sales, and regulatory departments in scientific and medical issues to achieve the company’s objectives.
• Serve as a medical expert for internal medical and sales training.
• Support clinical research and investigator initiated studies (IIS) and observational studies following guidelines and company-relevant SOPs.
• Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences and support the development of summaries of key data, presentations, or symposiums.

To be successful, you will need to meet the following:

• Only candidates currently based in Egypt will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science (PharmD, PhD, or MD).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceuticals industry.
• Oncology experience is a must.
• Expertise in communicating and developing field medical plans and complex scientific information to various stakeholders.
• Applicants should be available for face-to-face interviews in the location mentioned above.
