Motion Graphic & 2D/3D Animator

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Motion Graphics & 2D/3D Animator with a strong creative flair and storytelling ability to bring ideas to life through animation. You will work on a wide range of exciting projects, including interactive installations, exhibitions, events, immersive experiences, digital campaigns, and branded content.

The ideal candidate is passionate about animation, has a keen eye for design and motion, and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary creative teams to deliver memorable visual experiences.

Responsibilities

Motion Graphics

• Create engaging 2D motion graphics for videos, presentations, interactive media, and digital campaigns.
• Animate logos, typography, icons, infographics, and UI elements.
• Develop animated content for LED walls, projection mapping, kiosks, social media, and large-format displays.
• Produce high-quality promotional videos and event content.

2D & 3D Animation

• Create and animate 2D and 3D assets, characters, environments, and visual effects.
• Produce cinematic animations, product visualisations, and interactive content.
• Animate cameras, lighting, and environmental effects to create immersive experiences.
• Optimise animation assets for real-time applications such as Unity and Unreal Engine.

Creative Concept Development

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas during concept development.
• Transform client briefs into compelling visual narratives and animation concepts.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, mood boards, and visual treatments.
• Stay updated with emerging animation techniques, design trends, and AI-assisted creative workflows.

Visual Production

• Model, texture, light, render, and composite 3D scenes when required.
• Produce high-quality rendered animations and visual effects.
• Create assets suitable for both offline rendering and real-time applications.
• Ensure all deliverables meet creative and technical quality standards.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Creative Director, Designers, UX/UI Designers, Developers, Technical Director, and Project Managers.
• Collaborate with programmers to integrate animations into interactive experiences.
• Present animation concepts and visual directions to internal teams and clients.

Project Delivery

• Manage multiple animation projects while meeting production schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain organised project files and version control.
• Support revisions based on internal reviews and client feedback.
• Ensure consistency in style, branding, and animation quality across projects.

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Effects, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in motion graphics, 2D animation, or 3D animation (fresh graduates with exceptional portfolios are welcome to apply).
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, lighting, and visual aesthetics.
• Proficiency in: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Blender, Cinema 4D, or Autodesk Maya
• Experience creating storyboards and animatics.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of real-time rendering workflows.
• Familiarity with projection mapping and immersive media.
• Experience with particle systems, visual effects (VFX), and simulations.
• Character rigging and animation experience.
• Knowledge of AI-powered creative tools for image, video, or animation generation.
• Basic video editing, colour grading, and sound synchronisation.
