Network Architect
The Network is seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Architect to support a major Australian Federal Government department delivering and modernising highly secure, classified ICT environments.
This is a senior hands-on architecture role suited to someone with deep network engineering expertise who can take ownership of network design, technical architecture, security and documentation across complex, highly available environments.
You'll be working across the design and evolution of secure network infrastructure supporting critical government capabilities, producing high-level and detailed designs, providing specialist technical advice and working closely with project, security and operational stakeholders.
Key experience we're looking for:
* Strong Network Architecture / Network Design experience
* Deep hands-on experience with BGP, IPsec, VRF / VRF-Lite and DMVPN
* Next Generation Firewalls - Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper or similar
* Highly available enterprise network environments
* Routing, switching, VPN and network segmentation
* HLD, detailed design, as-built and technical security documentation
* Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
* Understanding of ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight highly regarded
* Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to provide senior specialist technical advice
Experience within highly secured classified Federal Government Departments will be strongly preferenced.
