About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for providing both remote and onsite technical support, resolving customer-raised tickets, and ensuring smooth network and security operations.
Candidates with 1-3 years of relevant experience are preferred, and fresh graduate are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and communication skills, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
Job Responsibilities
Understand customer network/security implementations and technical requirements.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and consult on technical issues for customers.
Manage customer expectations effectively.
Implement changes or workarounds to address technical issues.
Document daily tasks and compile reports for team sharing.
Serve as the escalation point for major support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Travel to customer premises to perform tasks as required.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Skills Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in network engineering or technical support is an advantage.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic knowledge of networking technologies, TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN is preferred.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent is an advantage.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
