JOB SCOPE
Hands-on role responsible for monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting Data Center LAN infrastructure under supervision. The role is ticket-driven and focused on first-level troubleshooting, network operations, and physical-layer support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 24x7 monitoring and first-level troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot VLAN, STP/RSTP/MST, Port-Channel/LACP, and basic connectivity issues.
• Execute approved MOPs and planned network changes under L2/L3 guidance.
• Perform rack/port-level troubleshooting, cable management, and basic fiber troubleshooting.
• Use Cisco NX-OS/IOS CLI for monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
• Collect basic packet captures and provide required details for L2/L3 escalation.
• Raise and track vendor tickets for hardware and network issues.
• Maintain incident logs and shift handover documentation.
