On-site IT Support Technician / Customer Support
Summary
Casual, on-site IT support technician with JTC Technology providing day-to-day helpdesk and tech support for school clients across Sydney — handling ticketed requests, supporting teachers/students/staff, and maintaining school IT systems, with a path to a permanent role. Requires customer-service focus, NSW driver's licence, and Working with Children Check.
Salary: $35 – $45 per hour
This Casual role is to support our school clients on-site, who are located across Sydney.
We are looking for candidates with part-time or full-time availability.
Some travel within Greater Sydney will be required for training and other company events.
This casual role has the potential lead into a permanent part-time or full-time role.
About the Role:
We are looking for a tech savvy & customer service orientated candidate to work with our educational customers, supporting teachers, students and staff with their day-to-day IT support requirements as well as supporting and maintaining the school's broader technology.
Training is provided, and there are significant learning opportunities for those who are keen to learn and grow.
The role would require a NSW drivers license and access to a car. Have or be willing to obtain both a clear NSW Working with Children Check and clear National Police Check.
Key duties will include:
Providing amazing customer service across interactions with staff and students as their first point of contact for staff and student IT enquiries
Managing and actioning IT support requests logged through a ticketing system
Proactively identifying opportunities to develop and improve the school's technology
Maintaining on site IT systems and documentation
About You:
Passion for providing great customer service and building relationships
Currently studying, recently graduated, previous experience, or looking for an entry level IT role.
Enjoys problem solving and working towards a solution
Ready with a baseline understanding of IT, or ability to learn quickly and demonstrate skills
Highly organised and ability to effectively prioritise workload
Great communication skills, both written and verbally
