About the Role
CAREXST, in partnership with PATHS, LLC, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Financial Navigator to support cancer patients at client facility(ies) in Newark, NJ.
Patients undergoing cancer treatment often face significant financial challenges that can impact care outcomes. In this role, you will help identify potential financial barriers, educate patients on available assistance programs, and guide them through insurance and billing processes. Your work will directly contribute to improving patient comfort, access to care, and overall health outcomes during a critical time.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist oncology patients with applying for pharmaceutical assistance and medical financial aid programs
- Counsel patients on navigating medical bills, insurance coverage, and available financial resources
- Evaluate and determine the most appropriate sources of payment for services rendered
- Collaborate closely with patients, physicians, nursing staff, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance providers
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with healthcare and privacy regulations
- Travel to additional client facilities as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
