Ops/Project Manager
Summary
An IT Operations/Project Manager (placed via recruiter PERSOL Singapore) who runs the day-to-day IT operation for a client: keeping deliverables on schedule, ensuring incidents are resolved within SLAs, analyzing incident trends, consolidating vendor reports, and supporting IT audits. The focus is on process management and stakeholder communication rather than hands-on engineering.
Salary: $4,500 – $6,000 per month
Primary Purpose
The Operation Manager is responsible for the managing the day-to-day operation of IT Operation, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer’s requirements
Responsibilities
Escalate and discuss project overrun issues, scope creep, integration issues, resource requirements with Project Manager (PM).
Ensure incidents are resolved within the service level agreement and should avoid having re-occurance of incidents.
Analyze incident case trends and highlight potential areas of improvements
Manage and consolidate reports from vendors for operations and report regularly in Project Management Meetings
Support IT audit activities when required.
Undertake and carry out ad hoc IT operation assignments and tasks arises from projects or day-to-day operation.
Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.
Team player with strong organization and people handling skills.
Proactive and dedicated individual with strong customer orientation and multi-tasking capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders.
Requirement
Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
Able to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship
