Part Time IT Assistant/ 兼職電腦助理

Virtus Medical Group is looking for a practical and reliable part-time assistant to support our IT team with computer equipment sorting, stocktaking and inventory updates.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organise old computers, spare parts, cables and accessories.

• Assist with dismantling old PCs and removing components, such as hard drives and RAM, under the IT team’s guidance.

• Conduct physical stocktaking, check asset labels and serial numbers, and update inventory records.

• Label and categorise equipment for reuse, storage, recycling or disposal as instructed.

• Assist with packing, moving and setting up computers, monitors and printers across our offices and medical centres.

• Follow company procedures when handling equipment and storage devices.

Requirements

• Practical, hands-on knowledge of computer hardware, including identifying basic PC components and using simple tools.

• Experience assembling, upgrading or dismantling PCs is an advantage; personal or hobby experience is welcome.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry.

• Responsible, organised and attentive to detail, with the ability to follow instructions.

• Willing to handle and move computer equipment and work at different locations in Hong Kong, including Central and Tsim Sha Tsui.

• Able to communicate in Cantonese and read basic English equipment labels.

• No IT or engineering qualification is required. Students and applicants from all disciplines are welcome.

• Work locations: Sheng Wan, Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and other company premises in Hong Kong
