Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the accurate and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Maintain proper medication inventory, including monitoring stock, placing orders, and processing returns.
- Deliver exceptional patient service by responding to medication-related questions and health inquiries.
- Utilize aseptic techniques when compounding sterile products, including IV infusions.
- Ensure full compliance with pharmacy regulations, guidelines, and professional standards.
- Document medication administration accurately within patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across departments to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and educational programs to stay current with pharmacy best practices.
Location
This position requires rotating between our eight medical centers throughout Miami-Dade County. Rotation varies throughout the workweek based on organizational needs.
