Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Developer with strong expertise in database development, performance optimization, and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration, NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in converting Oracle stored procedures, packages, and SQL queries to PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases while ensuring database reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/pgSQL procedures, and functions.
- Lead and support Oracle to PostgreSQL database migration activities, including stored procedures, packages, and query conversion.
- Analyze and improve database performance, scalability, and availability.
- Implement database backup, recovery, and maintenance strategies.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to database governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database development.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/pgSQL & NoSQL databases
- Proven experience in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and database administration activities.
