Power Transformer ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Location: Dammam, KSA

Ideally, candidates should have experience in areas such as:

• Power transformer electrical design up to 50MVA 12kV class

Job Responsibilities

Power Transformer Electrical design up to 50 MVA, 132kV class Transformers.

Prepare electrical designs, bills of material and technical submittals in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.

Prepare customer technical submittals.

Review complete manufacturing and fabrication drawings to confirm compliance with customer specifications.

Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Quality Assurance departments, as well as suppliers and customers.

Work Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in power transformer design within a transformer manufacturing company.

Required Skills

Experience in power transformer design in accordance with IEC and ANSI standards.

Experience with foil winding, continuously transposed conductors (CTC), disc winding, hermetically sealed and conservator-type transformers, and on-load tap changers.

Knowledge of DestDT, iTRACS, or other transformer design software, and Microsoft Windows.

Knowledge of comprehensive transformer calculations, including short-circuit (SC), loading, cooling, and impulse calculations.

Strong communication and supervision skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Basic Salary: Ranges from SAR 5,500 to SAR 11,000 per month, depending on the position level, applicant’s qualifications, relevant work experience, and the hiring manager’s recommendation.
• Housing Allowance (HRA): 25% of the basic salary per month.
• Transportation Allowance: A minimum of SAR 700 per month, in accordance with company policy.
• Contract Status: Family Status Contract, subject to company policy.
• Annual Leave: 30 days of paid annual leave.
• Air Tickets: Four (4) economy-class air tickets annually for the employee, spouse, and up to two (2) children, in accordance with company policy.
• Medical Insurance: Coverage for the employee, spouse, and up to two (2) children, in accordance with company policy.
• Annual Performance Bonus: Subject to applicable performance criteria and company policy.
• Annual Merit Increase: Subject to the company's annual performance review and applicable policies
