Pre Sales Solution Engineer

Salary: Rp 6.500.000 – Rp 7.000.000 per month

We’re Hiring: Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer who can bridge customer business requirements with technical solutions.

This role combines technical knowledge, solution design, communication, and presentation skills. You will work closely with customers, Sales, Technical Support, vendors, and internal teams to understand customer challenges and recommend suitable solutions.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology but also enjoys communicating, presenting, understanding customer needs, and translating technical capabilities into business value.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work with the Sales team during the pre-sales process.

• Meet with customers to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, existing environment, and project objectives.

• Conduct requirement gathering and technical discovery sessions.

• Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Design high-level solution architectures and technical concepts.

• Prepare solution presentations, technical proposals, and supporting materials.

• Deliver solution presentations and product demonstrations to customers.

• Explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Translate product features into relevant business benefits.

• Answer technical questions and address customer concerns during the sales process.

• Identify product limitations, integration requirements, technical dependencies, and implementation risks.

• Coordinate with vendors or solution providers for technical clarification when necessary.

• Support proof-of-concept activities when required.

• Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible before being offered to customers.

• Provide a clear technical handover to the implementation and support teams after a project is confirmed.

• Continuously develop product knowledge and become a solution expert for assigned technologies.

• Participate in vendor training and certification programs.

Requirements :

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, Technical Sales, IT Consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role is preferred.

• Fresh graduates with strong communication and technical capabilities may also be considered.

• Good understanding of basic IT infrastructure, applications, networking, systems, and solution architecture.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand customer problems before proposing solutions.

• Good presentation and public-speaking skills.

• Able to explain complex technical concepts in simple and understandable language.

• Able to communicate effectively with technical teams, business users, management, and decision-makers.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Comfortable delivering presentations and reading technical documentation in English.

• Willing to learn new technologies, products, and industries.

• Able to work closely with Sales without compromising technical accuracy.

• Willing to visit customer locations and attend meetings as required.

• Willing to participate in vendor certification programs.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience delivering technical presentations or product demonstrations.

• Experience with enterprise software, infrastructure, networking, endpoint management, printing solutions, cloud solutions, or business applications.

• Experience creating solution proposals or technical documentation.

• Experience communicating with vendors or technology principals.

• Relevant technical or vendor certifications are an advantage.
