Presales Consultant (Audio Visual , Cybersecurity, AI)
Description
Salary: $4,500 – $6,500 per month
01 Computer System Pte Ltd | Kallang, Singapore | Full-time
About us
01 Computer System is a Singapore managed technology company with 35+ years of history and 1,000+ customers, including NTU, NUS, MAS and SGH. We're an Extron Platinum Partner and combine Audio Visual, Cybersecurity and AI, "engineered to just work". Our new management team is investing heavily in growing our AV business, and this hire is central to it.
The role
You'll be the technical voice in front of our customers. You'll work with our sales team to turn client needs into winning AV designs, proposals and tenders. You'll start in AV, then be trained to extend your scope into cybersecurity and AI solutions, so you grow into a broader technology consultant rather than a pure AV designer.
What you'll do
Meet customers, run site surveys and capture requirements for meeting rooms, auditoriums, classrooms, control rooms and collaboration spaces.
Design AV systems: system diagrams, equipment lists, BOQs and costings, and technical proposals.
Respond to government and enterprise tenders, including GeBIZ and BOQ submissions against client scope.
Run demos and technical presentations for customers, and support sales calls.
Work with the project and technical teams for a smooth handover from design to delivery.
Keep up with AV platforms and trends, and learn our cybersecurity and AI offerings. We'll train you on these.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of AV system design, presales or application engineering experience in Singapore or the region.
Hands-on knowledge of Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Shure or similar platforms. Extron experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of video conferencing and UC platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, Cisco) and AV over IP.
Able to produce clear system drawings, BOQs and technical proposals.
Strong communication skills. You'll talk to customers as well as engineers.
Diploma or degree in AV, electrical or electronics engineering, IT or related field.
CTS or CTS-D and vendor certifications are a plus.
Curiosity about cybersecurity and AI. No prior experience needed.
What we offer
Basic salary of $4,500 to $6,500 per month, depending on experience.
Structured training in cybersecurity and AI (we partner with CrowdStrike, Netskope, Proofpoint and Wiz).
Clear career path to senior presales and solution consultant roles.
Work on real projects for leading government and enterprise customers.
Annual leave, medical and other benefits per our employee handbook.
To apply
Send your resume and a project portfolio or sample design (if you can share one) to rajesh@01.sg, or apply via this posting. We're hiring urgently and will interview shortlisted candidates this week.
