Principal Database Architect

Provide the following services for the Company: Technical work of database kernel and database storage engine, including preparation of annual plan, top-level design, outline design, detailed design, etc.

• - Provide technical leadership to the RapidsDB development team.


• - Build early prototypes of product components and validate them for technical design and performance.


• - Oversee development of the following key features for the RapidsDB product:


• - Performance to meet stated performance objectives


• - Streaming


• - HA and dynamic clustering


• - Supporting workloads beyond memory limits (spill-to-disk)


• - Security – authorization


• - Connectors


• - Be responsive and decisive on adjusting the RapidsDB product architecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technologies evolve.
