Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Engineer to support product lifecycle activities from new product introduction through mass production and end-of-life management. The successful candidate will play a key role in engineering change management, product compliance, cross-functional coordination, and regulatory documentation to ensure product quality, compliance, and continuity throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and Group Leaders in new product and project activities.
- Coordinate and manage Engineering Change (EC) and End-of-Life (EOL) activities for existing products.
- Liaise with internal teams on engineering change matters.
- Support the consolidation and verification of regulatory documents such as RoHS, REACH, and Export Control requirements.
- Monitor and coordinate mass production activities, including engineering changes and cost reduction initiatives.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining engineering documentation, including BOM updates, compliance declarations, shipment and purchase requests, as well as project records and reports.
- Organize and coordinate meetings with relevant departments to ensure timely implementation of project plans.
- Follow up on action items and support project progress reporting.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by management.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or project coordination environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Management, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or regulatory compliance would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
