Production Engineer
Description
We are looking for a production engineer with hands-on experience in sheet metal manufacturing operations to oversee production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth coordination between production departments.
Working hours:
Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekends: Friday & Saturday
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or production engineering.
- 0–5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with multi-stage production processes.
- At least 1 year of experience in a technical supervisory role on the shop floor.
- Proven experience with sheet metal manufacturing processes including cutting, punching, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Strong understanding of technical production parameters and manufacturing standards.
- Experience in monitoring production operations and managing multi-shift teams.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technical office, quality, maintenance, and materials departments.
- Experience in analyzing operational KPIs and preparing technical reports.
- Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and waste reduction projects.
Technical skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and operational specifications.
- Good understanding of sheet metal manufacturing sequence (cutting – bending – welding – assembly).
- Knowledge of tolerances and dimensional accuracy requirements.
- Familiarity with sheet metal waste reduction techniques and nesting optimization.
- Knowledge of ERP and/or MES systems.
