PRODUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Summary
Oversee ship/submarine repair and maintenance projects for the U.S. Pacific Fleet in Guam, managing teams and resources to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
You will serve as a PRODUCTION PROJECT MANAGER (either as an Electrical/Electronics Zone Manager or as a Sail Zone Manager) at PEARL HARBOR NAVAL SHIPYARD (PHNSY) & IMF of Detachment Guam (PDG). A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 11.88% will be added to the stated salary.
You will be responsible for supervising subordinate supervisors and military personnel who perform project assignments for repair and maintenance of ships/submarines assigned to the detachment Guam.
You will exercise both administrative and technical supervision over subordinates assigned to the Production Project Team.
You will give advice, counsel and instruction to individual employees on both technical and administrative matters.
You will Initiate action to expedite and ensure the availability of special equipment, tooling, materials and outside manpower or services critical to the timely and quality completion of assigned jobs.
You will gather planning information on potential ship work assignments.
You will exercise position management responsibilities, assuring that subordinates job descriptions are current and accurate.
