If yes, you might be the Production Quality Assurance Manager we are looking for at MyDefence. At MyDefence, we develop and produce advanced Counter-UAS solutions that help protect people, critical infrastructure, and those operating in high-risk environments. We are growing and further strengthening the quality setup supporting our Danish production operations in Nørresundby. As part of our continued growth, we are adding capacity to Production Quality to strengthen the quality support around our Danish production operations. As our new Production Quality Assurance Manager, you will help ensure the consistent execution of production-related quality activities, working closely with Operations and Global Quality. The role focuses on product quality, supplier quality related to incoming inspection and non-conformities, RMA handling, and Factory Acceptance Testing, ensuring that products meet internal standards and customer requirements before release. You will act as a key quality interface between Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Global Quality, supporting continuous improvement and the resolution of quality-related issues. What you will do Production Quality Management: Support daily production activities by ensuring compliance with established quality standards, procedures, and work instructions. Drive quality improvements through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions. Monitor and report key quality performance indicators, including non-conformities, yield, defects, and customer returns. Participate in production readiness reviews and support manufacturing process improvements. Incoming Inspection & Supplier Quality: Lead and coordinate incoming inspection activities for raw materials, electronic components, PCBs, assemblies, and purchased products. Define and maintain incoming inspection plans and acceptance criteria. Manage supplier-related quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers. Conduct supplier quality evaluations and performance monitoring. Support supplier audits, qualification activities, and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure supplier non-conformities are properly documented, tracked, and resolved. RMA & Non-Conformance Management: Manage the Returned Merchandise Authorization process from receipt through investigation and closure. Coordinate failure analysis activities with Production, Engineering, and R&D. Ensure timely root cause identification and implementation of corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and reporting of RMA trends and field quality issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer returns and failure data. Factory Acceptance Testing & Outgoing Quality: Lead and coordinate outgoing inspection activities. Ensure products comply with customer requirements, specifications, and release criteria prior to shipment. Verify completion of quality documentation, test records, and product traceability requirements. Ensure non-conforming products are identified, segregated, and dispositioned according to established procedures. Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement: Support maintenance and continuous improvement of quality processes, procedures, and documentation. Participate in internal audits and support external customer or certification audits. Drive structured problem-solving using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Root Cause Analysis. Support implementation of quality standards and best practices across operations. Promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, and Global Quality. Provide quality guidance and support during product changes, supplier changes, and production improvements. Participate in NPI and industrialization activities to ensure quality requirements are incorporated into manufacturing processes. Act as the local quality representative for Danish production operations. What you bring You bring solid experience from manufacturing quality, production quality, supplier quality, or quality assurance, and you are motivated by ensuring that quality activities are executed consistently in a production environment. Education: A degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related technical discipline is preferred. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered. Experience: 5+ years of experience within manufacturing quality, production quality, supplier quality, or quality assurance. Experience with incoming inspection, supplier quality management, and non-conformance handling. Experience managing RMA processes and customer quality issues. Familiarity with Factory Acceptance Testing, outgoing inspection, and product release processes. Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Experience from electronics manufacturing, defence, or high-tech production environments is an advantage. Technical competencies: Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing quality processes. Experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central. Experience with quality reporting, documentation control, and KPI management. Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and supplier quality methodologies is advantageous. Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and inspection methods. Communication: Strong communication skills in Danish and English.
