Production Support Engineer (Desktop Support)- Fintech

Salary: AUD 90000 - 110000 per annum

A leading Fintech organisation based in Sydney CBD is seeking a Production Support Engineer (Desktop Support) to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for issues related to our SaaS lending platform, reporting systems, third party data integrations, prioritising & managing resolutions through to completion.
• Perform first-round triage, document resolutions, manage escalations, & clearly communicate updates to internal & external stakeholders.
• Laptop imaging and setup
• Onboarding new starters
• Supporting internal users
• Troubleshooting Windows / device / access issues
• Helping users directly rather than just sitting behind a ticket queue
• Investigating issues when systems or APIs have errors
• Help implement & support new infrastructure platforms, as our SaS lending platform evolves.
• Work with internal teams to enhance the end user experience

Key Skills / Experience:

• Experience in supporting a Windows environment (end user, & Microsoft365 highly regarded).
• General troubleshooting ability
• Familiarity with incident management & ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
• Demonstrated experience with AI tools will be highly valued.
• Fintech or financial services environments would be highly regarded.
• Comfortable working under pressure with experience managing major incidents,
