Oversees federal facility and asset management, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and maintenance funding allocation for government properties.
This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Facility Management and Construction in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position is located in the Division of Facilities Management and Construction, Branch of Asset Management. Provides facility, asset and property management and business processes associated with facilities, internal controls and operations and maintenance and capital investment portfolio management.
As Program Analyst, GS-0343, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to: Oversees a national Facility Management program ensuring that the inventory is updated and accurate in both the Facility Management and Business Management System. Coordinates asset capitalization to ensure accurate reporting and documentation per system requirements and provides training and support for information application systems. Administers contracts, assesses facility conditions, serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative, identifies and corrects issues, and ensures accurate Facility Condition Index reports and timely submissions. Develops and oversees policy and standards for facilities and asset maintenance, investment categories, and requirements for acquiring, replacing, disposing, or transferring assets, as set by agency and departmental policies and compliance initiatives. Organize Federal Real Property Profile management including data collection, project tracking, deferred maintenance, capital improvement planning, and developing strategies and guidelines. Serves as a liaison to government agencies and ensuring compliance with internal controls, audit and accountability standards for facilities. Reviews Deferred Maintenance Work Orders associated with the Facility Condition Index (FCI) to ensure cost estimates and scopes of work are sufficient and accurate. Calculates Operations and Maintenance (O&M) allocations and distributes O&M funding.
