Project Coordinator

Overview

Vayan Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to support quality and containment projects at our 6925 FM Road 1327, BLDG 2, Mustang Ridge, Texas 78747 location. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, experience in rework or containment, and a hands-on approach to project coordination. The Project Coordinator will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and support site launches and small team activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee quality and containment activities on-site.
• Support mechanical rework operations and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and inspectors to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Ensure project documentation, reports, and quality records are accurate and timely.
• Assist with site launch activities, including setup, training, and process validation.
• Provide direction and support to small teams to achieve project goals.
• Maintain flexibility to meet production demands, including overtime and weekend work as needed.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a Quality and/or Containment environment.

· Technical background and demonstrated leadership experience required.

· Experience performing detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, and height gages.

· Mechanical and/or rework experience required.

· Strong understanding of quality processes, inspection methods, problem-solving, and containment operations.

· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Must be flexible to work varying hours, overtime, and weekends as business needs require.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
