Project Engineer [SL]

1. Project Management & Coordination

• Coordinate and monitor project progress from project award through to successful completion.

• Monitor project schedules, work progress, quality and budget performance.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.

• Attend site meetings, inspections and project coordination meetings.

• Coordinate material deliveries, installation activities and project documentation.

• Prepare progress claims, variation order (VO) quotations and project close-out documents.

• Ensure project activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and company safety procedures.

• Promote safe work practices and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.

2. Tendering & Costing

• Prepare tenders, quotations and project cost estimates.

• Review tender documents, drawings and technical specifications.

• Source and compare products, pricing and suppliers.

• Prepare technical submissions, compliance documentation and value-engineering proposals.

3. Technical Support

• Provide technical advice and recommend suitable lighting solutions based on project requirements.

• Assist in resolving technical, operational and site-related issues.

• Support product sourcing and technical evaluation.

• Provide technical assistance during project implementation and the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

4. General Duties

• Support the Project Manager in project-related activities.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
