Project Manager - B2B Events

Job Summary

The Project Manager - B2B Events will plan and execute trade events across Asia, supporting European delegations and clients with market research, event logistics, and relationship management to drive market entry and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research on industry sectors in Asia to support market development strategies
• Maintain and update databases of companies, institutions, and trade bodies in assigned markets through internet research and phone outreach
• Design and execute email campaigns to promote upcoming trade events and engage target audiences
• Coordinate logistics and operations for marketing events and trade delegation visits to ensure smooth execution
• Arrange and facilitate trade meetings between European delegations and Asian partners to foster business connections
• Supervise and manage interns and temporary staff on a project basis to support event activities
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, customers, vendors, and partners to enhance collaboration and trust
• Demonstrate strong coordination and follow-up skills to ensure timely completion of event-related tasks
• Work independently with a positive, proactive attitude and collaborate effectively within small teams
• Travel within Asia and Europe as required to support event execution and client engagement

Required competencies

• Fluency in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with international stakeholders
• Proven internet research skills to gather and verify market information
• Strong writing skills to create clear and engaging communications
• Effective telephone and general conversation skills for outreach and coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or diploma from a reputed institution
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in Events, Market Research, or related fields
• Knowledge of Asian and European languages to facilitate cross-cultural communication
