The Opportunity
Are you a motivated Project Manager looking to broaden your experience and work on projects that make a real impact?
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Unlike traditional project management roles that focus on a small number of large projects, this position requires managing 20-30 concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, including national rollouts across 20-800 sites.
Applicants should have experience delivering retail, building, facilities, fit-out, maintenance, construction, or multi-site rollout projects, including developing scopes and quotations from limited client briefs.
To be considered for this role, you must have unrestricted working rights in Australia, hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. You must be Melbourne-based and available to attend our Mulgrave office a minimum of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery

Manage projects from initiation through to completion
Develop project plans, schedules, milestones and delivery frameworks
Define project scope, objectives, roles and responsibilities
Coordinate resources including labour, materials and external suppliers

Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate activities across multiple business units
Work closely with partner representatives to deliver successful outcomes
Lead project meetings and facilitate effective communication

Risk & Commercial Management

Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Support tender preparation, submissions and evaluations
Manage project budgets and financial performance
Monitor project scope, timelines and deliverables

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Track project progress and provide regular updates
Prepare reports and presentations for key stakeholders
Conduct post-implementation reviews and identify improvements
Support operational initiatives and project opportunities across the business

Experience & Expertise
Essential

Project Management qualification or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Preferred)
Proven project delivery experience
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving capabilities

Desirable

Experience within engineering, refrigeration, electrical or mechanical services environments
Exposure to facilities management or service-based operations
Experience with tender processes and commercial project delivery
Familiarity with project budgeting and financial reporting

As this is not an IT Project Management or Engineering based role. Candidates without practical experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a retail, building, construction, facilities, or rollout environment are not suitable.
