Project Manager ( IT )
Salary: $6,000 – $8,000 per month
About the role
Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring projects are completed within the agreed scope, timeline and quality standards. Act as the key point of coordination between business and technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables and dependencies, and closely track project progress against committed timelines
Work closely with business users, technical teams, vendors and other stakeholders to understand requirements and align expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Proactively identify project risks, issues and dependencies, and drive the relevant stakeholders towards timely resolution
Follow up closely with project team members and vendors to ensure deliverables and action items are completed according to agreed deadlines
Manage stakeholder expectations by providing clear and timely updates on project progress, risks, changes and potential delays
Facilitate project meetings, requirement discussions, status updates and issue-resolution sessions, ensuring clear action items, owners and deadlines
Manage project scope and change requests, assessing potential impact on project timelines, resources and deliverables
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, deployment and other project activities where required
Prepare and maintain proper project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, status reports, risk/issue logs and other governance documentation
Ensure project activities and documentation comply with the required organisational and government project governance, security and operational processes
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline
Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in IT project management or technology project delivery
Good understanding of software development, systems implementation and/or IT infrastructure, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams
Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience managing project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks and deliverables
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage different expectations across business users, technical teams, vendors and management
Assertive and delivery-focused, with the ability to follow up, challenge delays and drive stakeholders towards agreed deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues early and coordinate the appropriate parties towards resolution
Organised and meticulous, with good project documentation and reporting skills
Experience working on Singapore Government/Public Sector IT projects will be an advantage
Experience managing external vendors, system integrators and/or multiple project stakeholders will be advantageous
