Project Manager( IT Infrastructure Upgrade)
Summary
Project Manager leads a banking IT infrastructure upgrade, coordinating stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to deliver on time and within standards.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of an IT infrastructure upgrade project within a banking environment.
- Act as the key point of contact between client stakeholders, consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Develop and manage project scope, timeline, resources, risks, and issues.
- Drive project governance, reporting, and steering committee meetings.
- Oversee design, testing, deployment, and transition phases to ensure quality delivery.
- Ensure compliance with bank IT standards, project methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support change management and effective stakeholder communication.
- Must have experience in project management within a Bank IT environment.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Strong Waterfall project management experience.
- Solid stakeholder and team management skills.
- Familiarity with banking governance, controls, and documentation standards.
- Consulting experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills in Japanese are advantageous to liaise with Japanese stakeholders and clients but not mandatory.
