Description:

Ensuring proper management of new components (better quality/price ratio)

Among Your Role :

• Be a member of the risk management committee in accordance with the FCA Risk Management Manual.
• Consult the new component tracking database daily for the various Aptiv plants;
• Request pricing from suppliers using the standard "RFQ" email;
• Inform the supplier of the plant's new requirement, providing the part number, annual volume, and start date;
• Create the supplier's VN and PI in SAP if it is a new supplier;
• Negotiate delivery times with the supplier according to the dates defined by the plant;
• Ensure data is updated in NEWCOMP and create SAs for all part numbers with a Frame Contract;
• Follow up with the SPBs to ensure DSPAs and FCs are closed on time;
• Create the open order (contract) in SAP to allow logistics to submit delivery requests to suppliers via EDI;

Your background :

• Degree in Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
