Python Developer

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with strong hands-on programming experience and a good understanding of SQL, databases, REST APIs, and backend development. The ideal candidate should have experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend applications, along with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Python.
• Write, optimise, and manage SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, and complex queries.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for backend services.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality and application reliability.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support data processing and ETL-related activities.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
• Good knowledge of SQL, joins, subqueries, and query optimisation.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and backend development concepts.
• Understanding of debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Knowledge of data processing and ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of application deployment and backend architecture.
