Python Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Python-based REST APIs with FastAPI for a fintech company, using Docker, AWS, and secure coding practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.(non-negotiable)
- At least 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in Python development. (non-negotiable)
- Experience working in the banking, financial services, or fintech industry is highly preferred.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI. (non-negotiable)
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, API versioning, and exception/error handling. (non-negotiable)
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Docker (non-negotiable)
- Docker Compose (multi‑container environments) (non-negotiable)
- Experience working in enterprise software development environments, including:
- AWS (non-negotiable)
- CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy)(non-negotiable)
- Coding standards and secure development practices(non-negotiable)
- Version control using Bitbucket(non‑negotiable)
- Code review processes
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases:
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- Experience implementing API security using:(non-negotiable)
- JWT
- OAuth2
- Good understanding of secure coding principles and application security best practices.
