Job Title: Senior Backend Developer Python & AWS

Job Overview-

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python, AWS services, and backend/integration development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable backend applications, serverless architectures, and cloud-based integrations.

The candidate should also have working proficiency in Java and/or Node.js and practical experience using AI-powered development tools to improve coding, testing, and documentation efficiency.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Working proficiency in Java and/or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and AppSync.
• Working knowledge of AWS ECS and Terraform.
• Strong experience in backend development and integration.

Required Technical Skills

• AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.
• Database: SQL, Stored Procedures, MongoDB.
• API Development: REST APIs.
• Cloud & Containers: EKS, ECS, Docker, OpenShift, VPC, RDS, and Security Groups.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• CI/CD & Version Control: GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Security: Encryption and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

AI Development Tools

Daily practical experience using AI development tools such as:

• Devin AI
• Cursor
• Claude / Claude Skills

Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and integrate serverless applications using AWS services.
• Develop and manage APIs and backend integrations.
• Work with SQL, stored procedures, and MongoDB.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment pipelines.
• Leverage AI development tools to improve engineering productivity.

Candidate Requirements

• 612 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend or integration development background.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
