Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.

Candidates with knowledge of manual testing, automation frameworks, and programming languages are encouraged to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Work with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects using tools such as Jira.
• Execute API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.
• Maintain test documentation and prepare test execution reports.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) testing processes.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and test case design techniques.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver or any automation testing tool.
• Understanding of automation frameworks such as Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, or Hybrid Frameworks.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Basic understanding of SQL queries and database testing.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit.
• Knowledge of Maven, Git, and GitHub.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of REST API automation using REST Assured.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and Scrum.
• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Freshers with relevant training or certifications in software testing and automation are welcome.

Experience Requirements

• 01 Year: Basic knowledge of manual testing, automation concepts, programming fundamentals, and Selenium.
• 12 Years: Hands-on experience in writing and executing automation scripts, test case design, and defect reporting.
• 24 Years: Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks, API testing, regression automation, and CI/CD integration.
