Qa Automation Testing Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright with C#, API automation, test framework development, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with C#.
• Build and enhance scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Automate UI, API, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Develop and execute regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Perform API testing using Playwright or tools such as Postman.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation failures, analyze root causes, and implement solutions.
• Generate and maintain automation reports and dashboards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

Required Skills

Automation Testing

• Strong experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in C# would be added advantage.
• Experience in UI and end-to-end automation testing.
• Experience with API automation and validation.

Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
