QA Engineer
Salary: ₱50,000 – ₱60,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven QA Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to ensure the quality, functionality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing manual and automated testing, identifying software defects, and collaborating with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
Identify, document, track, and report software bugs and defects.
Conduct testing of web and mobile applications to ensure quality and reliability.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other technical teams to resolve software issues.
Validate bug fixes and conduct retesting before deployment.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and sprint activities.
Recommend improvements to testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality standards.
Ensure software meets business requirements, technical specifications, and user expectations.
Prepare testing documentation, reports, and quality assurance assessments.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
Strong knowledge of manual testing, test case development, and defect management.
Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Knowledge of SQL, databases, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
