About the role
Senior QA Engineer role focused on designing and executing comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases. You will develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI), and conduct manual and exploratory testing where automation is not applicable. You will lead and mentor QA team members to improve both technical and interpersonal skills, plan QA resources, manage test priorities, and ensure quality alignment across projects.
Key responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Cases
Develop and maintain Automated Test Suites using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure fast and reliable releases
Conduct Manual and Exploratory Testing where automation is not applicable
Identify and analyze defects, determine root causes, and collaborate with developers to ensure quick resolution
Lead and mentor QA team members to improve both technical and interpersonal skills
Plan QA resources, manage test priorities, and ensure quality alignment across projects
Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams regarding quality risks and timelines
Stay calm and decisive under pressure while maintaining high testing standards
Promote a Quality-Driven Culture throughout the organization
About you
2–4+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing (Manual & Automation)
Proven experience using Playwright for end-to-end automated testing
Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills and familiarity with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, API)
Deep understanding of Testing Methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
Prior experience in a Lead or Mentorship role
Excellent communication, collaboration, and accountability skills
Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and improve processes
Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Experience with Mobile Automation Tools (Appium, Detox, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
