QA Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring product quality and production stability. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining release quality, identifying risks, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own production stability and ensure high-quality releases
  
• Investigate, analyze, and assist in debugging production issues in collaboration with developers
  
• Perform thorough testing including edge-case, negative, and risk-based scenarios
  
• Write, maintain, and update detailed test cases for regression and high-risk areas
  
• Validate features and bug fixes in staging environments
  
• Provide staging sign-off prior to production releases
  
• Identify, prioritize, and track quality risks across sprints
  
• Work closely with developers throughout the development lifecycle, not just during testing phases
  
• Support hotfix validation and urgent production releases
  
• Ensure testing coverage aligns with both business requirements and technical risks
  

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles
  
• Strong hands-on experience in manual and exploratory testing
  
• Proven ability to investigate and debug production issues with developers
  
• Strong test case writing, documentation, and reporting skills
  
• Solid understanding of web and mobile application testing
  
• Familiarity with APIs, logs, and databases for validation
  
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
• Ability to manage priorities, risks, and release timelines effectively
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
