We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer, Senior to join our growing organization.
Quality Strategy & Process
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement
- Define and implement QA strategies, standards and best practices
- Establish and maintain test plans, test cases and test cycles
- Ensure QA processes align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
- Continuously improve testing methodologies (manual, automated, exploratory)
Testing & Execution
- Be part of and oversee functional, regression, integration and performance testing
- Ability to read and understand code and system architecture
- Review and approve test cases, scripts and test results
- Ensure timely identification, documentation and tracking of defects
- Validate defect fixes and confirm release readiness
- Balance risk, quality and delivery timelines
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as the primary QA point of contact for projects or products
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps and Business teams
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
- Communicate QA status, risks and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
- Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Automation & Tools
- Drive test automation strategy and adoption
- Select, implement and maintain QA tools and frameworks
- Ensure proper use of defect tracking and test management systems
- Analyse test results and trends to improve coverage and efficiency
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, security and industry standards (where applicable)
- Identify quality risks early and propose mitigation plans
- Support audits, documentation and process assessments
- 6+ years of professional experience in testing and QA
- 1+ years of experience in a senior QA role
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium)
- Strong knowledge of Coding and SQL
- Understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architecture
- Flexible working across different time zones
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong team-building skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail with a proactive mindset
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Jira and other Atlassian tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
- Gen AI tools knowledge and experience in using AI for testing
