QA/ QC Assistant
Summary
Perform daily hygiene and quality inspections in a food production environment, conduct lab tests, and support audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
⏰Working Hours & Salary:
• Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm
• Saturday: 8am-12pm (Required to work on every Saturday during probation period; alternate Saturday after confirmation)
• Up to $2,600/month
📎Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily hygiene inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and company hygiene standards.
• Perform quality inspections on raw materials and finished products, including verification of product quality and expiry dates.
• Carry out routine microbiological sampling, laboratory testing and shelf-life studies according to established procedures.
• Assist in investigating customers' complaints, product non-conformities and quality issues by supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support weekly pest control activities and monitor pest control records.
• Conduct monthly internal hygiene audits and visual inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentations.
• Support SFA inspections, customer audits and internal/ external audits.
• Work closely with production and other departments to promote a strong food safety and quality culture.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by QA/QC Manager.
✅Job Requirements:
• SINGAPOREANS ONLY
• Possess NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Food Science & Technology or a related discipline.
• Min, 1 year of relevant experience in food manufacturing, food processing, central kitchen or related food production environment.
• Able to maintain accurate documentation and complete records in a timely manner.
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
