Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Material Hardness Tester and Marker to join our QA Department. Operating within our Oil & Gas equipment machining workshop, you will focus on verifying incoming raw metal materials through hardness testing and ensuring all outgoing finished parts are accurately marked and inspected before delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hardness checks on all incoming raw metal materials to verify quality and specification compliance
- Perform clear, accurate, and compliant identification marking on outgoing finished metal components
- Inspect outgoing finished metal parts against engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the machining workshop in accordance with safety regulations
- Execute any other ad-hoc duties and workshop tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Experience working in an Oil & Gas equipment machining or precision engineering environment advantageous
- Familiarity with metal hardness testing tools and material marking methods advantageous
- Physical fit for this job
