A global installation site (field service) manager for semiconductor equipment: leads tool qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), stabilizes process and equipment performance, manages field technicians, and acts as the technical interface with customers — supporting a Japanese chipmaker's 2nm ramp, with international travel to Europe, Japan, US, and Korea.
A.) Process Qualification & Tool Release
1. Lead tool qualification activities (IQ / OQ / PQ) post start-up
2. Execute and support process tuning, calibration, and recipe validation
3. Ensure tool meets performance specifications before handover to production
B.) Process & Equipment Stabilization
4. Monitor and improve tool stability and performance metrics
5. Support initial production ramp and yield stabilization
6. Identify and mitigate process variations and equipment drifts
C.) Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as technical interface with customer engineering teams
7. Support customer during:
7-1 Tool acceptance
7-2 Process qualification milestones
7-3 Provide technical guidance, training, and best practices
D.) Continuous Improvement
8. Drive initiatives to improve:
8-1 Tool uptime and reliability
8-2 Process performance and efficiency
9. Identify opportunities for:
9-1 Standardization
9-2 Checklist optimization
9-3 Best practice documentation
E.) Documentation & Compliance
10. Maintain:
10-1 Qualification reports
10-2 Process validation records
10-3 Troubleshooting logs and RCA reports
F.) Travel
Willing to travel outside Taiwan for training and deployment.
Flexible to travel to Europe, Japan, US & Korea depending on project requirements.

The Field Service Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Field service operations to ensure the effective delivery of services to customers. This role involves managing the team of field technicians, scheduling service visits, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Field Service Site Manager will work closely with internal teams to align service strategies, address operational challenges, and implement process improvements.
