React Java Developer (Azure) - 3665650 (Buffalo, NY)
Summary
Senior contract developer (6-18 months, W2, hybrid with 4 days on-site in Buffalo, NY) building consumer banking applications, leading a transition from .NET/Angular to React/Java. Day to day involves React front-end work, Java Spring Boot microservices on Azure Cloud, mentoring, testing, and cross-team coordination.
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their React Java Developer to support applications transitioning from .Net/Angular to React/Java position! This is a 6-18 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY with 4 days on-site.
This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead development on a new suite of applications transitioning from .Net/Angular to React/Java architecture
- Design and develop modern web applications using React and Java within Azure Cloud environment
- Build Java Microservices using Spring Boot for consumer self-service middleware programming
- Collaborate closely with Engineers and Product Owners to ensure clear technical communication and alignment
- Analyze complex system requirements and architect scalable solutions for consumer banking applications
- Direct and mentor less experienced developers on small to large scope projects
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, system documentation, and test plans
- Execute detailed testing plans including debugging and quality assurance activities
- Evaluate system interrelationships and integration points across multiple applications and platforms
- Drive project milestones and delivery dates while coordinating between application teams and business units
What You'll Need to Have:
- This is a senior level role. 5+ years of systems analysis and react/javascript and java application development experience
- Experience with development on a new suite of applications transitioning from .Net/Angular to React/Java architecture is highly preferred
- Front end: React, Angular, and single-page applications
- Back end: Java, Spring Boot, microservices, .NET Core, and .NET APIs
- Cloud/infrastructure: Azure
- Integration: Middleware programming and consumer/self-service applications
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience with .Net Core and .Net API (preferred but not required)
- Banking or financial services experience valued for domain knowledge and faster onboarding
Pay Range: $70-74/hr
