The Residential Sales Executive II – Travel Team (RSE-2) is an experienced, high-performing door-to-door sales professional responsible for driving residential fiber growth in new and priority Fiber Deployment Areas (FDAs) across Clearwave Fiber’s 12-state footprint.

The RSE-2 Travel role is designed for seasoned, top-performing D2D sellers with a demonstrated history of exceeding sales expectations and performing at a President’s Club level. Travel Team members deploy into markets where Clearwave Fiber has identified significant growth opportunities and are expected to quickly establish a strong field presence, generate customer demand, and accelerate fiber penetration.

This role carries a monthly quota of 35 installed units and requires travel up to 75% of the time.

Your Mission

Bring elite-level sales execution to Clearwave Fiber’s highest-priority growth markets. Deploy into new and priority FDAs, quickly learn the market, engage prospective customers through door-to-door selling, and convert opportunities into completed Clearwave Fiber installations. As a senior-level seller, lead through performance, professionalism, consistency, and execution while helping establish a winning culture wherever the Travel Team is deployed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Performance and FDA Penetration

  • Achieve or exceed a monthly quota of 35 installed units.
  • Conduct high-volume residential door-to-door prospecting within assigned FDAs and New Market Expansion (NME) territories.
  • Generate new customers through effective prospecting, discovery, product presentation, objection handling, and closing.
  • Drive fiber penetration within assigned deployment areas through consistent field activity and sales execution.
  • Maintain a strong focus on both sales acquisition and successful installation completion.
  • Represent Clearwave Fiber professionally while delivering a high-quality customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • During non-travel weeks, work remotely to resolve company pipeline issues, fallout, and other assigned pipeline-management tasks. Non-travel weeks may also be used for training and shadowing with RSE-level agents in partnership with company sales and development leadership.

Travel and Market Deployment

  • Travel up to 75% of the time throughout Clearwave Fiber’s 12-state footprint based on FDA deployment schedules and business priorities.
  • Deploy into new or priority markets and quickly adapt to changing territories, customer demographics, competitive environments, and market conditions.
  • Maintain strong productivity and sales execution throughout each deployment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Travel Team Manager and fellow Travel Team members to maximize territory coverage and FDA penetration.
  • Maintain flexibility regarding deployment schedules, market assignments, and business needs.

Travel support: All approved business travel associated with Travel Team deployments will be covered by Clearwave Fiber in accordance with company travel and expense policies.

Sales Activity and KPI Execution

Maintain the activity levels and field discipline necessary to consistently achieve sales and installation expectations. Performance will be measured through key sales and activity metrics, including:

  • Installed units
  • Gross and net sales
  • Door knocks
  • Customer conversations
  • Conversation-to-sale conversion
  • Daily sales productivity
  • Installed-sale conversion
  • Cancellation and fallout rates
  • Pipeline management
  • Customer follow-up and recapture activity
  • Accurately document sales and field activity in required company systems and maintain consistent visibility into individual performance.

Pipeline and Installation Management

  • Own the customer relationship beyond the initial sale by actively managing pending orders through installation.
  • Follow up on outstanding installations, identify potential fallout, and work proactively with customers and internal teams to resolve barriers that could prevent successful installation.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline and attempt to recapture qualified customers whose original Clearwave Fiber installation did not complete or whose order was canceled.

Home Market Execution

During periods when the Travel Team is not actively deployed, work within your designated home market to maintain sales productivity and support Clearwave Fiber’s local growth objectives. Non-deployment responsibilities may include:

  • Residential door-to-door selling
  • Pipeline management
  • Pending installation follow-up
  • Fallout management
  • Cancellation and failed-install recapture
  • Supporting local market sales initiatives
  • Sales training, shadowing, coaching, and development—virtual or in person—at the RSE level as needed, including shorter individual travel deployments when required

Performance and activity expectations remain in place during non-travel periods.

Team Culture and Leadership Through Performance

  • Contribute to a high-energy, competitive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.
  • Demonstrate the professionalism, activity level, and sales discipline expected from an experienced RSE-2 seller.
  • Lead through example and help establish the performance standard for the Travel Team.
  • Share successful sales approaches, market insights, and best practices with teammates.
  • Remain coachable and actively participate in field coaching, team huddles, training, and performance discussions.
  • Support new and developing sellers when appropriate while maintaining individual performance expectations.
