Ruby Developer – Full Stack, Rails Javascript, TDD

Senior Ruby Developer to build and evolve a new Rails-based web platform that communicates with a Java API. You will join a compact, highly capable team in a fintech client project, helping design and deliver bleeding-edge applications with a pragmatic agile approach. Expect to shape the platform architecture, contribute to technology strategy, and implement a robust REST API. • Design and develop new applications in collaboration with the existing team
• Play a major role in architecting the platform
• Contribute to technology strategy and architectural decisions
• Design and help implement a REST API
• Build a brand-new web platform in Ruby
• Conduct code reviews within an Agile-minded environment

• 5 years commercial development experience in Ruby
• Experience designing and building Rails applications
• Ruby
• Javascript
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Understanding of applications on AWS
• Experience with mobile applications (beneficial)
• Degree level education or equivalent
• Rails expertise in a Ruby-based stack
