Sales Advisor

Responsibilities: -

  • Provide excellent and professional customer service to all customers.
  • Engage customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Develop good product knowledge and effectively communicate product features, benefits, and promotions.
  • Work towards achieving individual and store sales targets and other performance indicators.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat purchases and customer loyalty.
  • Support customer relationship management (CRM) activities, including the collection and updating of customer information where applicable.
  • Perform cashiering duties and ensure all transactions are processed accurately.
  • Replenish merchandise and ensure products are displayed neatly and according to the Company's visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Assist with receiving, checking, transferring, and organizing stock.
  • Conduct stock counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the store.
  • Support new product launches, promotional activities, and other in-store initiatives.
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and basic after-sales matters professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including cash handling, loss prevention, security, grooming, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Work closely with the In Charge and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the In Charge or Management.

Requirements: -

  • Minimum GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ Level, NITEC/Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred.
  • Customer-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sales-driven with a positive attitude and willingness to achieve targets.
  • A good team player who is responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Able to work retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • Good communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in additional languages to support a diverse customer base would be an advantage.
