Overall Responsibilities
- Design and lead the delivery of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Health Cloud.
- Apply best practices to leverage Salesforce out-of-the-box features effectively and minimize custom development.
- Lead technical solutioning using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
- Architect integrations between Salesforce and external systems using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms.
- Define and implement CI/CD deployment strategies using tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Copado, or Gearset.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews to ensure compliance with best practices, performance, and security standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to guide platform strategy and roadmaps.
- Expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds including Health Cloud (preferred but optional), Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Strong development experience with Apex, LWC, and the Salesforce metadata model.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, security, sharing model, automation tools, and platform limits.
- Proven experience with MuleSoft for API-led integration design and enterprise service orchestration.
- Strong grasp of CI/CD, DevOps, and sandbox management practices in Salesforce environments.
- Ability to lead architectural discussions and translate business goals into robust technical designs.
Skills & Tools
- Strong expertise in Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce.
- Salesforce Integration (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Web Services).
- Data modeling and Large Data Volume (LDV) handling.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (preferred).
- DevOps tools: Copado / Gearset / AutoRABIT.
- CI/CD, Git, Bitbucket.
- Middleware tools like MuleSoft.
- SOQL, SOSL.
- Security & Sharing model expertise.
- Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong documentation and solution architecture skills.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Conduct architecture discussions and technical workshops.
- Design solution blueprints and technical architecture diagrams.
- Review and approve technical designs and development work.
- Guide developers on best practices and complex implementations.
- Handle production issues and provide architectural solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment.
- Participate in sprint planning and technical grooming sessions.
- Ensure performance optimization and platform scalability.
Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform, with at least 3 years in an architect role.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture experience.
- Proven experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Salesforce implementations.
- Experience handling enterprise-level clients and complex integrations.
- Strong understanding of multi-org strategy and governance.
- Experience working in global delivery models is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Required)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect (Required)
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant (Required)
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant (Required)
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect (Strongly Preferred or In Progress)
